  • Yes. Since water is supposed to be cycled, it is possible that the water molecules exhaled by Caesar centuries ago are still part of today’s environment.
  • Yes. Since the same water molecules exhaled by Caesar centuries ago are cycled, they can become a part of us when we drink water. Another way that they can become a part of us is through the food that we eat.

Student Conceptions
Students may not know that plants transpire and lose water through their leaves. Animals have their noses to breathe out of while plants have their leaves, more specifically their stomata, which are openings on the underside of the leaves.
